The Chancellor of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, visited the Computer Science Department at Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), where he announced the appointment of the new Chairman, Dr. Kashif Shaikh.
On this occasion, Sir Syed University’s Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jafar Nazir Usmani, senior member Masood Alam, Principal of Aligarh Institute Shahid Jameel, Aligarh Convener Mohsin Kazim, Joint Secretary Academics Adnan Zahoor, Qazi Noman Mujahid, and other distinguished guests were present.
The Chancellor reviewed academic and research activities and assured the provision of further facilities for the advancement of modern technology. He stated that Sir Syed University is committed to promoting quality education and will ensure that Computer Science students are equipped with the demands of the modern era.
The newly appointed Chairman, Dr. Kashif Shaikh, expressed his commitment to further developing the department by focusing on a modern curriculum and research. Former Chairman Dr. Waleej Haider warmly welcomed him and assured full support for the institution’s progress.
